You can see that in the face of the coin is a picture of TRIDENT in the center, namely the coat of arms of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. There is an inscription of Ukraine on the coat of arms, and the year minted coin under it. On the reverse of the coin is a digital description of the denomination of the coin, and under it - an inscription for the "kopiyka", the "kopiykas", or "grivnas. The upper edge of the letters of the name is horizontal, the lowest has an arcuate shape down. The name is framed with a wreath conventionalized leaves and berries. The obverse and reverse of the coin is framed edging outgoing intact along the perimeter. The edge of the coins of denominations 1 and 2 kopyika is smooth, and 5, 10, 25 and 50 denominations kopyika is grooved, the edge of the coin of 1 grivnas name, is inscribed with "A grivnas" and "1996", points to separate from one another.
